Cheers Roy. Thanks for your hard work this season. Hope you and your family have a good summer. Roll on august!.

If any Chesterfield fans are tuning in:

If you came to the match well done. You did your team and the occasion proud and your sporting applause of the Blades was appreciated, by me at least and hopefully by thousands of fellow fans.

If you didn't come you missed a fine performance from the men in blue. The Blades were too giddy and were below their best but Town made it hard, came close several times as well as scoring the 2 goals, and were unlucky to have Gardner sent off for what was no more than a minor scuffle. Nixon and Dennis played particularly well, I thought.

All the best for next season. Get rid of Dave Allen and his gang, keep those promising young players and start afresh.

And thanks to Roy too, for a very entertaining season of "Views from....".

Juast like everyone else Roy - a big thank you for the time and effort in putting together the "Views from...." What empahises our own view of the team's play are the many plaudits from the opposing fans for our style of play and acknowledgement we are the best team in the division. When did we last get those type of comments? Have a great summer break.

A big thank you Roy for your " View from " this season. Really enjoyed reading them and far more interesting throughout the season.

Looking forward now to the views from the bigger clubs next season..

View's from:

Villa.. Sunderland.. Norwich.. Weed's.. etc etc .

Have to say I wouldn't have your dedication to the cause Roy. I often look myself on other forums for comments about us and it's hard work sometimes. Especially the smaller clubs, finding enough comments for your 'View from' must at times be doubly hard.

So thanks from me, looking forward to next seasons 'View from' which I expect to even better taking into account the larger fanbases and bigger forums.

Cheers mate.

A last thanks of this season from me Roy, all your hard work has been really appreciated and a great insight into how other clubs see us, some good, some bad and others who are away with the fairies. Please carry on with it next year if you have the time as like many have already said its one of the highlights of the week, thanks again mate:)

When most of us are lifting jars of ale, post match, Roy is lifting the skirts of other supporters forums and feeding us tidbits for our delectation.

Cheers, feller, and good health

View from GCB and his fellow posters:

"Roy, you are a star. Your tremendous effort coupled with a great sense of humour has made for a season's worth of valued, appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed entertainment"

Thanks mate.

Many thanks Roy for all the seasons work, hope you have a nice holiday and look forward to your Championship efforts :D

I've seen this season different to most. I thought Roygbiv started off well but faded a little as it went on, probably as a result of there being little vitriol coming our way. There was a lot of unseen work and little invention.

Must try harder ;)

Roygbiv. Ta

Many thanks Roy, always a great read win. lose or draw. Please carry on next season!

Cheers Fella!

Just want to add my thanks for all your efforts too Roy. Good man, always look out for and enjoy your "view from" post. Enjoy the rest over the summer:)

Thanks Roy for all your efforts this season. Sure other clubs would be interested in having this feature. The Prince and Kev were discussing if they could get a fee for you in the next window.
Apparently we have been offered two boxes of malteasers, a pack of wine gums and some vimto...
Tuftys reply
"fook em they are not aving our Roy..."
