Danny Wilson didn't ruin us in the slightest.

He got the closest out of any manager we've had since being down here to going back up, scoring a hatful of goals and playing fantastic football.

And to top it off, a very decent bloke.

Pete agree . We perhaps would have done better in the play offs with Wilson at the helm , instead of the Morgan factor . We have moved on but not gone forward or progressed . Tells me something .

Interesting reading some threads on forums and talking to a few Chesterfield fans about Dimaio. They think he is awful and totally out of his depth. Apparenty he had one decent game but since then been non existent and is weak as a paper bag. One said he is destined for Matlock or Stavely within a few years. Surprised how they saw him as I thought he had done ok. Maybe puts into context what some fans said about him not being given a proper chance.

Chesterfield were dire. I would not be surprised to see Wilson take them down next year if they survive this year (should just about hang on). Note the above how bad his winning percentage is - shows what a constant failure he is where ever he goes. I expect Morgan to be manager this time next year.

Also note the season ticket prices too. Read about them in the terrible programme that was littered with errors - surprised as editor is Nick Johnson who is a Blade I believe and a writer who has had a few books about SUFC. They had our team sheet including Stefan Woolford and Marc Nulty and said we played Chesterfield at Vale PArk in 1980...There were many more errors too. Going back to the season tickets, they were at early bird prices far more than ours I think....£420 centre of main stand.. £365 in their equivalent of the Kop as an example.

The programme also said our manager is Nigel Atkins!

Paul Cutts from the announcer a few times.

And £2 for a cup of tea!

I spat my tea out when she gave me my change and had to buy another one.

The facilities in the ground were quite poor for a new ground. 3 people serving about 100 fans. I took one long at the queues and came back to my seat.

They do seem rather pissed off.

I would be if I had to turn up to watch my team play football in a Tesco's car park every other week but couldn't claim any clubcard points.

It's a great Tesco to be fair, just a shame they had to ruin it by putting their "stadium" near it.

Exactly, one of the UK's best Tesco stores spoilt by them.

It's easy enough to piss off anyone from Chesterfield, all you need to do is just tell them to get off their fat arse and fix that damn spire.

“I thought Sheff Utd were a decent L1 side today. We were awful but they gave us no time on the ball whatsoever and were quicker and stronger throughout. We were thoroughly outplayed and it could have been worse. We need to get that last couple of points and give DW a pre-season to put his own stamp on the side.”

The one actual fair comment.

His win percentage with us was pretty spectacular to be fair to him. Why do we beat the shit out of all our previous managers as if to blame them for our ills? He, barring a "Guilty of Rape" case would have got us promoted. You know it, I know it we all know it. Also, in season 2 had we not sold our top scorer while top of the league then there was a good chance we would have been promoted that season. The bloke was hamstrung by bad luck and bad decisions made by McCabe.

3 people serving about 100 fans.

Sounds like them lot that run the bars at Bramall Lane.

Generally 3 people serving beer in the John Street, 1 pulling, 2 slowly taking money = massive queues!! You'd think with the prices we pay for the watered down piss they'd be able to afford another member of staff.

At least we aren't the only ones doing that then.
