Erm....I thought they were the ones that were talking it up as a derby and the biggest game of their season. We have never given a toss about them and are never likely to.

Don't really mind Chesterfield as a town. Blades are probably 2nd best supported club in it, so plenty of banter. But generally I think they reserve most of their vitreol towards the other blue and white shite in the region.
 
Loving this one Roy, cheers mate, it seems like we need to send emergency supplies of Lager to lower Dronfield, think they have had enough bitter for one day.........

Not seen the chip on the shoulder myself really - Barnsley suffer from not having a proper rival. Chesterfield aren't *that* bothered about the 2 Sheffield clubs. Most of their enmity is reserved for Mansfield. They're likely grumpy as the Stags put 5 past Notts.

Chesterfield people have a real dislike of Sheffielder's generally and the town fans dislike both Sheffield clubs in equal measure IMO.

It slightly amuses me the vitriol the Sheffield clubs get from the regions other clubs. I can only put it down to a bit of jealousy that they'll never have either of our histories or potential.

Love the fact that they think we are so poor. We are poor, but not so poor that we can't comfortably beat them twice.

Personally I hate the small town bitterness that is displayed by the fans of our local neighbours and am quite happy to see any of Chesterfield, Donny, Rotherham and most of all Barnsley lose or get relegated.

Oh and to the pillock who calls us the Blunt Fans, its the "Blunts" fookin ell, if you are going to use that predictable (boring) insult, at least get it right!

I was sat among the 'Spites' yesterday in the west stand. They were pretty angry but there were some complimentary comments about us. It was difficult trying to hide my amusement
 
So Wilson is fucking up,
Morgan is a Legend and
Slew is shit.
While it's great to read, we're really the last set of fans that need any of that confirming.

Money isn't everything, especially as he was set to earn a decent wedge with the club that gave him his chance anyway.
 
Well, Adkins got it 50% bang on. The ledge still winding up Blades' mediocre opponents even now. Classic!

Danny Wilson didn't ruin us in the slightest.

He got the closest out of any manager we've had since being down here to going back up, scoring a hatful of goals and playing fantastic football.

And to top it off, a very decent bloke.
