All sounds a bit bitter to me. I listened on the radio and it sounded a good game. It certainly didn't sound like both teams will be fighting the drop at the end of the season.

"We’re still above the blunts in the league”

Aww, bless em...

It might seem as if I have a vendetta against KE, but I am interested how he saw the game.

He mainly praised the team today, was rather quiet but that was going to be the case with 3 of them all trying to have their say on the game.

Edwards is annoying when he starts going off on one but last week he was pretty much saying exactly what we was all thinking.

What we have to remember is that KE is there to give his opinion on the game and not commentate. The other guy talks us through the play.

Mixed bag of comments. Can't see us in the bottom six. Before the funeral parlour comment starts a war there were quite a few messages about fans who'd passed away. I don't think it was aimed at Woodward at all. They respected that fully.

Must be that magic crooked spire that gives the residents of the small Derbyshire town immortality then. Where else would United have a chance to mention supporters who have passed away than at the first home game? Obviously no supporter of the small Derbyshire town has ever died.

There did seem to be a lot of deaths mentioned, but it was the first home game in three months!

Che adams just like a young kevin davies good player. Him and Sam morsy for us looked the 2 genuine championship players.”

I agree with that much. Hopefully Che won't lose his pace and go all fouly though.

I only noticed Morsy for his constant moaning to the ref trying to get our players booked. His first touch was good and he tried to be agreesive but he couldn't cope with Basham or Wallace in the 2nd half and rarely helped his wide midfield players

Keith has always been like that with any team he played for as well as his opinions during our commentary he loves the game and Sheffield united

It's not just the shit numbers they brought, Their support was piss-poor throughout, the only time they made a sound was when they walked with the police escort singing cringingly outdated Carlos Tevez songs. News must travel slow to north Derbyshire, I suggest they get some faster pidgeons.

Shit club, tosswank ground in a Tesco car park and fucktard supporters desperately clinging to a mythical 'rivalry' between us. We don't consider them to be rivals.
We barely consider them at all. Their ONLY claim to fame is having a crap church.

But other than that..?

i liken chesterfield fans to the rotherham fans, little town clubs that think they are bigger than they really are, with their small fanbase i dont think they would suatain playing at an level for too long, its only a matter of time before the millers get relegated. they aint our rivals only in their own mind

Edwards praised the team, esp the 'back 3' (he said freeman was playing midfield). He also said Howard coming out to collect crosses early in the game was important.

Telling Mrs HB about some of the less savoury coments on this and she says "Yes, but it's just Chesterfield".

A good point, well made.

Your right Bill, vast majority of their fans respectful, just that carrot crunching sheep shagger making those uncalled for comments, on a day when we paid our respects to a truly all time great shows no class.

They were all about 14 years old aswell.

I thought that Morsy looked pretty good, and most of their fans seemed to be applauding Woody for the full minute. I don't think we will see many better sides at the lane this year so his bottom 6 scenario seems very strange. I reckon we could both be top 6 again.
