Our support is the same? We’re getting 50% more than them in the league. In 15/16 we got more than them who were in the higher division than us, despite it being our worst season in 30+ years.

They have one anomaly in the PL season when they averaged 31k. Never come anywhere close when in the Championship.

I wondered about that too. It would be unfair to compare gates this year as we are on the back of 2 years in the top flight but in 15/16 we averaged just shy of 20,000 after a mid table finish and 5 years in league one.

Cardiff averaged 16.500 in the championship - finishing 8th, having been in the premier league in 13/14.

I had to double look that comment as well tbh their a decent club Cardiff but our supports bigger than theirs you only need to check attendees in last 20 years.

Not sure what game some of them were watching! The score line flattered Cardiff, we should’ve had 5 or 6. I think we would’ve still won that even if they didn’t get the red.

I had bbc wales on the radio on the drive back and Joe Ledley was on comms. His said we should’ve been out of site before their goal & that he thought the blades were the best side he’s seen at their place for a long time.
