The fact they think they matched us and we was nothing special yet we had 3-4 players ill (with one throwing up on pitch) and still won 2-0 in 2nd gear says everything.

Imagine if we had fully fit team.

Who threw up on the pitch?

Thanks as always for your work before and after each game. Have a great Christmas and hope the New Year fulfills the promise the putative take over might deliver!! UTB

When you get past the ‘passionate fans’ that thought they Cardiff put up an equal performance there’s one footballing stalwart that said it how it was with 2 banks of defenders he probably isn’t a wearer of rose tinted glasses.

As always well done Roy hope you have a very merry Xmas hope you’ll be coming out of the shadows for a mince pie and a pint.

Blades fans were class today! Everyone of us that's done the miles this 2024 I salute us all UTB and thanks Roy 👌🏻

“£4m buys you a decent striker
The reason why we are bottom of the table and Sheff Utd are top is down to one thing…..
VT not willing to spend money on a striker.”

A good theory but with one minor drawback. Kieffer Moore cost us £1.2mil not £4mil. Our other top scorer cost us jack all!

Facts. Don't you just love 'em!

No bitter comments, but it does surprise me saying that we weren't all that. They never laid a glove on us and I thought that we were in total control even though we didn't have a shot on target first half.

A good solid away performance against a very poor team lacking in belief and ability.

Well done. Top of the Xmas tree we go 😁
This sums it up. They never looked anywhere near scoring at home and hardly had the ball.

The only question of note throughout the entire game was whether we would score. Which we did twice.

We seem to be giving poor teams, too many reasons to be optimistic.

Cheers Panchero!

I’ve no issue with the way sides pay against us, especially when we’re at home. It’s expected that they will mostly sit in to defend. When lower table sides do it at home, again no complaints or surprise. They sit deep and double up on the likes of Hamer or Jez.

They’re doing their best to make it hard for us and preventing us beating them 3 or 4 nil and they often do it valiantly.

But as fans they have to realise that their teams best efforts are still not enough to put the ball away in net nor keep it out of theirs. Whether that’s a single goal or a rout, which is also not the style we currently adopt, they’re not even putting a glove on us at times.

Plymouth, played above normal levels against us, still couldn’t make it hard for us.

Cardiff, gave the ball away a lot, the best they can hope for is to be mid table like Wednesday playing like that.

What fans don’t appreciate about us is that we’re not a side that goes all out attack like Leeds, we aim to preserve first and score second, that’s why we’re sitting top above Leeds or Burnley, currently. It’s been effective and has worked
