Nice to see them wish Coutts well after that cunt smashed his leg.

Yep not one comment on the injury. I know it is only a few comments on the match but to not mention it at all is rather sad.

Anyway it seems like Nigel is treating his players exactly how he treated them when he was here.

Not one mention of the Coutts injury.

I did try to find a few comments on his injury but didn't find any. I am sure that when they realise what has happened they will be wishing him the best. These comments are straight after the heat of the battle. I don't think most will have realised how bad the injury was.

Bust ups, playing his favourites, Derby fans warned us, we saw the same now Burton are seeing the Negative Nigel we saw in his 2nd season. Throw in a few "we had an off day" comments and there you have it, we must realise even if we are top of the league there are far better teams in the Championship .................. you know like Barnsley. FFS

I hope so.

Here are some more "Views From" that I heard when I was on the stands behind enemy lines, as it were:
On Fleck..."that short-arse player aint alf bad, is he?"..."He's got a low centre of gravity like Maradonna, and a fat arse too."
On Brooks..."He's bloody fast he is. Not like our old buggers like Warnock, the lazy bastard"
On Duffy..."BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
:D

“ forget your bust ups clough and do right for the team”

Good luck with that.

“Time for change stubborn clown won’t change it so it’s time to get someone who will”

This guy gets it.

“Duffy proving what a good decision it was by NC to let him go! Lacking quality, pace & tactical nouse."

This guy certainly doesn't.

bit boring tbh.. (not Roys fault..)
usual shite about we were lucky.. ref was crap.. we're no good.. our players cost nowt.. off day..

long may it continue :D

Nigel Clough’s post-match interview, for old times sake: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05nf04m
I forgot how much sense he talked when he was interviewed, just makes Adkins interviews seem even more cringeworthy. Love how he bristles at some of the interviewers stupid questions.

Thought Burton battled well at times, but they were no contest for United.

Good luck to Nigel Clough and Burton for the rest of this season.

I'm afraid they don't now what the game of football is about.

Who's that? The Burton fans or the majority of managers?

Typical Clough. Belittles the reporters thinking it will stop them asking pertinent questions.

We're seeing the effect a truly good manager can make. Clarke playing the best football of his career. Ditto Coutts. Ditto Sharp. Ditto several others. Coincidence? I think not. Compare and contrast with Clough (and 75% of other managers). He's not spent his career struggling with little teams like Burton - he's had financial backing at Derby and the Blades but achieved fuck all. The Cup runs with us? That's the law of averages that keeps a lot of piss-poor managers in a job. Exhilarating, yes but ultimately doomed to failure and condemning us to another seaso in Division 3. Of course Clough is not on his own. Utter failures like Moyes, Grayson, O'Neill, McClaren etc. etc. keep getting employed on the basis of one decent spell in their long careers.

Thank God for Chris Wilder.
