What has Wikder said?

Can’t blame the ref tonight surely?

Mostly pretty fair.

Looks like Chris got them wound up. What’s he said? I didn’t see it as I was sulking and turned off the telly.

“They are one of those teams who people love to hate – I am not particularly fond of them myself, but they were phenomenal this evening. Brilliantly set up from the get go, I’m not even sure we played ‘badly’ pre-red card, I think they just played very well. Couple of very good technical players, before seeing them I had presumed they were just over-achieving. How wrong I was.
Make no mistake about it, that’s a tremendous result. They will be up there come May!”

This.

I have to agree on the booing as well. What was that about. The lad was clearly injured. Seemed out of order to me (I wasn't there).

Also, they're right in saying that for both their goals Stevens and then Baldock (I think) took their players out and it was great refereeing to play advantage. There were high feet but it's a part of a game which annoys me now. I don't agree with giving free kick for high feet unless it's dangerous.

Bristol are the second worst side I’ve seen this season only Hull were worse. They won’t finish top six.

Don’t think we will either now though tbh.

Just seen Wilders comments, can’t agree I thought the ref had a decent game, don’t need the Carlos like whinging he’s better than that.

“Best team i have seen this season. Very unlucky tonight.”

Wilder questioned why Djuric (sp) stayed on after elbowing O'Connell and then suggested that their winner shouldn't have counted as Djuric "nearly took of O'Connell's head" with a high foot.

Didn't catch anything about Fleck's red card but Wilder did say that the referee should probably have more time for Christmas shopping once the assessor's report goes in.

Had a proper go about the ref.......I think!!
I didn't quite 'get' his point, but whatever his point was (summat about him going Christmas shopping) it was meant to be derogatory.

“Horrible club. Tinpot to the core. All the media hype around them makes this even better. Media lap them up for no real reason. Haven’t really done anything of note in football….probably in their history. Ground is old as hell and never full.

Hard to take this seriously when A) Ashton Gate is a lopsided shitheap that has had be virtually rebuilt from scratch and B) The only notable thing ever to come from that neck of the woods was Fred West, and Gloucester can take credit for that.

Wurzel cunts.

A mixed bag. I ignore anything that says 'northern' in. England is the south east/London and then everywhere else.

They were lucky, Fleck was stupid and CW did the usual ref blaming that managers do. Standard fare

Let’s not be bitter here.
We were very unlucky, they were very lucky. It happens.

But they created very little, and although yes, they are a decent side, I wouldn’t say they were good. In fact Fulham were a better side. They had units at the back and defended fairly well. But we still opened them up.

Well done United, enjoy the points Bristol, you got them without really earning them. And if Fleck leaves a leg out of the tackle I think we win the game.

We played well, deserved red card changed game...they defended wells and rode their luck...be interesting to see where we both end up this year.

UTB!

I think he needs to see it on tv. It wasn't an elbow, his hand caught O'Connell (Djuric just seemed clumsy in general) and Jack went down and (I thought) made a meal of it. Didn't notice the high foot

“To the United fans. A little slice of karma.
After complaining about every hard tackle from City, you boo an opposition player who was clearly badly injured by a terrible tackle. Now fair enough, you may not agree with the decision, but surely after he hobbles off with the assistance of two physios and gets substituted, you could maybe stop shouting “cheat” at him. And maybe not boo him after the final whistle as he’s limping badly down the tunnel. Haven’t been so happy to inflict defeat on a team in a long time.

I'm only sorry that we allowed the little prick to limp off.

.

I was booing the four attempts to stand up and sitting down again.
That definitely looked like he was milking it to me.

Think we've found tonight's Wednesday infiltrator.

Norwich of the South West, referee didn't handle them well.

I bet that cunt who limped off will be back playing before Christmas.

fuck off Bristol you pathetic cheating bastards and take that vomit inducing kit with you
bitter? moi??

“Sky really don’t want to give us any credit, do they?”

what a moron. we should have been at least 1 up never mind 3 or 4. we hit woodwork 4 times, had 1 off line, few close over bar, their keeper made a few world class saves, shouldve had 2nd half penalty & with 2nd attack they score on stoke of half time

but apart from that yeah sky should praise you hugely. who does he think you are Donald trump :mad:
