Well I thought they would be peed off tonight but they think we deserved it. They have a squad of technically good players with lots of pace. We have a team with a brilliant manager. It's our season Blades.

We're nothing like Cardiff, other than we both had Madine! As for their comments about them having better players than us, I'm not so sure about that either. I'd take Maupay and Sawyers and Canos is good on his day, but Norwood and Fleck are why we are where are, and they've not nothing in their middle that can do what they can. They're a bit like Norwich, but not as good a version, and not as clinical. It's ironic that they've complimented us on our defending tonight but I didn't read any comments praising their ex-players in that, that apparently wasn't anything special for them, but I admit, I stopped reading halfway through!

Teams like Bristol, Swansea, Brentford and Derby: They've got decent players but no balls and you can't win promotion without leaders, grit and nouse. You need those qualities mixed in with quality, and thankfully we're loaded with both!
 
Brentford fans are an odd bunch. They are an established, mid table championship side. They have some good technical players and are good to watch and the fabs seem to mostly appreciate good football. They also seem to think that possession and shots = domination and that tricks and flicks are the same as wins and goals.

We should have scored 8 at their place, they were lucky to get 2. We've beaten them by 2 clear goals tonight with 10 men for 65 minutes. But they still have fans who like their tricks and flicks players, with one of the worst away records in the league more than our players. They even gave us 2 of their cast offs who are now 2 of the top 10 defenders in the league. But they still wouldn't get in their team apparently.

I still like watching them play. It'd drive me insane to support them.

Yeah, you get a strange kind of excited, warm feeling, but not sure it's worth ending up with tired eyes and a sore index finger with all that constant refreshing :(
 
Barnet best Bees confirmed. Brentford can fuck off down to the Nisa Local Southern Division.

I used to like them too, one of the first times I ever watched a football match all the way through was a video of my Dad's of us Vs them at Griffin Park from the late 80s, massive pillar in front of the camcorder.

Since they started playing decent football they think they're Arsenal though, unbearable.

You lot don't half get your knickers in a twist don't you? Most of the comments were fair enough, a few throw away comments, couple of tossers.

Some might say forums are made up of individual posters and comments, neither of which form a consensus? (I'd hope!).
