Honestly I don’t think that’s the case. Anel only went towards the ball, not into the keeper. His arm was up, but that’s not a foul just because the keeper jumped into it.

The goalie was simply late to the party. He needed to be attacking the ball earlier and well above head height. If he’d done that then the attacking player would have had no business making contact with him, and it’s a foul.

Only the keeper seemed to believe he’d been fouled and even then it was unconvincing…

His complete lack of support from his teammates in his protests was very noticeable.

Very disappointed that I didn't hear the very obvious chant of " getting sacked in the morning " after Anels goal . Shame on not showing solidarity with the Boro brethren.

Fair summary from them tbf, I didn't realise Carrick was under threat, just shows how hard it is to get out of this league without the PL money. Very few managers are given sufficient time, so the cycle starts again. Clearly, they don't like Wilder, but arguably they would be no worse off now, if they had stuck with him.

Carrick did well initially, but it's a hard gig in the championship when it's your first job. Not a fan of Parker, or Farke, but they are proven promotion winners, the new generation of Warnocks.

Tbh it's looking more and more like Boro were carried along during his I initially good tenure by the brilliance of Archer and Akpom. Those two just had one of those great strike partnerships where they are totally on the same wavelength

Had a glance at their forum earlier and it's notable how many of them have turned on Azaz. He's looked terrific when I've seen him this season (admittedly not since before Christmas) and his creative stats were up there as some of the very best in the division. What's happened there?
