Sounds like it will be a party in Barnsley this evening......

Anyone else disappointed not to see lots of bitter comments?

This one though;

congrats youve won your cup
final and had a day in the fresh air out of the smog and seen trees and that , well done

:D:D

Seems you've got someone who isn't a fans of yours too Roygbiv ? :D

What was the freak at the end going on about? what a complete prick.

That last comment is brilliant! If you ever want a can of Monster for the next "View From" then give me a heads up :D

I bet a few dogs got kicked when the dingles got home

Oooooo ooooooo chalk and cheese springs to mind . Fair play a few of them they do say the better team won and they were outclassed but the rest of the of em  never mind sour grapes they must be sucking on sour lemons. Fecking music to my ears, eye candy etc hahahaha it must be their sisters time of the month.
Keep up the great work Roy days like today and then reading the dingle whingers gives one a nice warm fuzzy feeling or is that the celebratory beer ? You can just imagine the furious dingles jabbing at their keyboards with a face like a bulldog licking piss off nettles tee hee tee hee :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Aye, cos Sheffield is famously lacking for trees!

Barnsley fans are amongst the most realistic and fair fans in this region. Proof: " Praise and Grumble" weekly.

Fair play, they lost and they move on.
Maybe, but this week the lunatics have been running the asylum

Ha Ha Ha Ha
"First time in 40 years I've seen the away end full when playing them".
"Reminded me of a game against Wendy"
WTF is this moron smoking ?

He obviously wasn't there for the games when Sharp scored, Beattie's penalty, Agana's penalty in a night game many years ago, I also remember two games in 1979-1980 and 1980-81 when there were more of us than them in the stadium, not to mention a number of cup games and replays when Bassett was the manager when we had over 10,000 in the stadium.

Our 2-2 draw with them a few years ago was the only time our support there was slightly disappointing and even then it was 2,500 despite United being at war with their own fans at the time, it being a Monday night and it also being on TV.

Put into context, Wendy took 3,400 last season for a game in a Division higher.

'Good support, and in my 40 years of watching at Oakwell I think that’s the most fans I’ve ever seen from you lot.
Reminded me of the Owls support, so good effort.'

Yeah. Snide comments about support. So how come the half-empty stand on the right? Reserved for the Owls turning up? Prick. (Love the sign on that 'stand'. 'Be Proud. Be Barnsley.' I'd be prouder of being Cyril Smith.)

That last comment is pure gold. Talk about missing the point!
