Less than a quarter full?

So there were more Blades than home fans?

Can't be right.

When asked "did we do well" 4 Barnsley fans raised their hands in support, consisting of 94 fingers in all.
Bastards.

“Never mind, Oasis – Barnsley have won their first home game in 6 months”

The fuck does that mean? Congrats that Barnsley fan on the most spurious Oasis link possible.

Thanks for that, put a smile back on mi face and checked me back to reality.
See, I've been getting too big for mi boots, thinking Blades would do owt this season, now I'm safely back in the state of mediocrity.😩😞

Good luck to them. I fear for them a bit with so little transfer activity.

It could be the highlight of their season in August!

It was a weak team and making so many changes never ends well. The last round was a leveller as Wrexham did the same thing. Barnsley picked their first team.

We should really limit changes to no more than 6. As a manager there is no way you can expect a cohesive performance with eleven new names on the team sheet.

For me that would have been better, though often the teams that go up are free from the distraction of cup competition, granted we managed a semi final under Hecky too but generally it isn’t the case.

Wankers… oh well. Who’ve we got at the weekend. Next.

Cheers Roy.
We didn't deserve anything from that, Wilder obviously eather was big headed and actually thought that side was good enough, or really didn't want to be In that cup and fielded a very weak side..... eather way, it wasn't good enough, only himself to blame.

Thanks Roy. That's a years supply of poor quality energy drinks gone for another year then.
Good song though, I actually thought A House had only done Endless Art. I should get out more.

Thanks Roy.

A bit of a strange line up for us, I reckon Anel only played so CW could claim he was telling the truth about him being ill last week.

Had a good chat with some of the Barnsley fans tonight. The outlook for the season is as bad as ours last year in Prem. Made me feel positive ……then game kicked off 🤬

It’s not good enough either way though is it when 5000 fans have paid their money to go and watch it.
If Brewster scores then maybe the games different. But that was one moment of magic from JRS, other than that it was the dullest game of football you can imagine!

Think the attendance was 11k or something, so just under half the ground were Blades.

Not sure what they’re on about saying they were loud, it sounded exactly what it was - an early league cup crowd.

Comments a lot less salty than I expected. At least we made some fans happy, a shame about our five thousand rightly not happy.

Totally agree, but Wilder can't blame the players, the team selection and management was the catalyst to that.
And if the players aren't following instructions, that's also a management issue.

Can't begrudge them their victory. The best team on the night won.
Yeah they were decent, especially second half. Changed or tweaked their game plan to get Cotter into the game more and exploit our weakness down our left. RND getting completely schooled and showing that he's not a CB... McCallum looked decent first half, but exposed RND second half and the did us in a 25 min spell as their comments say (perhaps less). They then managed the game well with a few bits of luck and keeper making some decent stops as well.

Attendance 10,739. Puts it at just over half Dingles, just under half Blades if we sold 5,100.

A quarter full though… might need to go back to school. Oakwell holds 23,287 and so was just under 50% of its capacity
