I'm a bit shocked by all the negativity about after that. We dominated throughout, especially after they got level and would have had a lot more with a bit of luck. They got two lucky goals and sat on them. Although McGinn was better than he has been he's still in terrible form and needs dropping either for Coady or a new signing (I thought Cuvelier until he left). A potential other solution would be to have a diamond affair with Doyle sat deep giving Baxter a free central role then play Paynter with Miller/Murphy/Diego or a new signing.

On a side note, does anyone know the situation with Baxter? His injury didn't look promising.

Apparently Baxter got a boot to the head and should be fine.

Just looked at our stats, 25 shots, 10 on target, 11 corners.

That is much much better than it has been. That is the standard Clough should now be setting and we'll win enough to stay up.

Still like a couple more in and obviously a proven striker.

I suppose the negativity comes from the fact that we did play well but still couldn't put the match to bed. They got lucky but we had our fair share of luck as well.

If he's concussed there's a standard rest period to be observed. Hope he's OK because he's got FA Cup magic in him that boy.
