can't believe accross numerous threads we discuss up front options and not one has Billy in there you know the guy who is the most prolific striker in this era.... he won't do it in the championship will he?? he did he's written off in the PREM already why ?? I'm not his favva btw but you know what he's a finisher a goalscorer not the most technical by any means, but give him 3 chances 1 goes in .... our current strikers have 3 4 5 6 none go in ... but wait they have no chances coz of service bullshit there not getting into positions to create chances Billy does he gambles. our current favoured strike force have a lot to learn 4 of them above him not one fit to lace his boots goalscoring wise. for me he'd be my 1st choice striker limited maybe but boy he knows how to score.. as for rest of the team hendo typical modern keeper brilliant saves too many bollocks dropped our defence no words can describe that strength midfield it's about there bar a Duffy who I said at the time was integral leaves for me who should partner BILLY SHARP

McGoldrick obviously. As I have already posted or suggested on a few other threads.
Sharp and McGoldrick were collectively prolific in the championship last season. They are unlikely to get as many goals in the PL, especially if they get disciplined or injured, but certainly worth a try.
Add Luke Freeman to midfield in a forward role and the supply of chances should also improve.
Look out Arsenal. :)

Just watched the Golokin fight and then read this.

Not one mention on here of suggesting Billy as first choice? Really? You must have taken more punches to the head than those two Super Middleweights did tonight.

Yeah, Sharp and McG to start, with a change on 60 minutes with Mousse and McB, with Robinson to cover for suspensions or injury.

Whatever pairing we have at the moment, it just doesn't seem to be working. We know that the Sharp/McG pairing did in the Championship and there is no reason why it will not work now. Teamwork and understanding is worth more than a £50m striker.

It would be good to see Sharp start the game instead of the last few minutes
