Was just surprised to notice on the bottom of my latest print at home ticket it says "vaping is not permitted within Bramall Lane". For some reason I'd always assumed it was allowed and it's not been something on my radar as I've not really noticed before it in the ground.

But on Saturday I went in H block for the first time and there were about 4 or 5 guys in front of me who were vaping constantly through the entire game. With the NE wind it was all blowing back into my face and my chest was more than a bit irritated after.

With hindsight now I wished I'd checked it out and reported them, and certainly would in future. Just wondered if anyone else had issues with this?

Nobody round us really vapes on the Kop thankfully, but yes it’s banned, like smoking inside the ground… in the seats at least.

They can’t be arsed to check at the back or the kop or the bogs, but inside it’s not allowed

Yeah, been going to the Lane all these years and it's the first time I've particularly noticed it. It's not summat I'm precious about, my mate vapes all night when we're in the pub and it doesn't bother me, but with this lot (sat on rows X,Y and Z in H block) it was the first time I've actually felt it affect my chest.

Stupid habit, guy in front of us does it. I know I am an old fart but vaping is one of the more stupid irritating modern trends.

People just look gormless sucking on big lumps of plastic before blowing their sweet sickly clouds over everyone around them. I was at an outdoor gig last summer and this kid in front of me was doing it every 20 seconds. I actually object to having to breathe your second hand shit in and it shows a complete lack of concern for other people that they don't even notice this.

A virtually unregulated industry which as pointed out above there is little known about the long term effects but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out it might just mess your lungs up.

But got to hand it to those clever marketing teams the fancy colours and flavours is sucking in the younger generation and hooking the kids.

I think it’s good a sign of modern times. Men use to hide their sexuality for years. Now they are very open about it and actively flaunt it with vapes.

We have come a long way as a society.

That's nothing, the woman in front of me had 8 packets of crisps!

EIGHT!

McCoys as well, proper hefty crisps.

Impressive feat, but I couldn't get the smell of beef & onion out of my nose for hours afterwards
Impressive as it might be, if some lass ate 8 bags of crisps, I’m not sure she’s the type of girl I’d go down on to be honest, but each to their own.

Ohhhhhhh - you mean the crisps were beef & onion flavour……… 😉

Few people around me in the John Street stand that vape during the ge and it pisses me off too.
Stewards are useless and prefer to stand in the way of the stairs instead.
3 blokes easily in their 40s/50s smoking a cigarette in the toilets at the Portsmouth game last weekend too.

Can people really not go 2 hours without?

There’s a guy in front of us who eats 6 bags of crisps every game. These two should meet it could be the romance of the century

Well we have a bag of liquorice all sorts between us and have teeth like the Shameless estate. Vape guy in front of us though, smells like rat piss, mouth and tongue cancer to look forward too.

Personally I try to take a puff every 30 seconds. I like to make others breathe it in whether they like it or not. I don't feel uncomfortable about that at all. I also like to vape CONSTANTLY while driving. The more hazards I cause the better, not my problem
You would be ideal defending corners !!

It's a plot by the Chinese. The liquid makes you gay, birth rate drops and we slowly die out. Wake up sheeple.
Keep off the douche flutes.

This clearly explains why I'm still a very manly and virile babe magnet despite my masses of wavy hair and penchant for wearing a jaunty scarf.

Just dummy's for adults really aren't they.

Pathetic.
It's obvious smoking is bad for you and vaping more than likely is. Over the years I think anti-smoking campaigns should have maybe dwelt more on mocking it rather than concentrating on the negative health effects.

Flavoured vapes should never have been allowed and vaping should have only been an aid in smoking cessation.
