It's not until you look at Ismael's stats that he's never done more than 50 games for one club before leaving/being sacked. Not someone to build a team around based on having an initial impact then seeing it all start to drift away.

Bit like Bielsa who, based on previous form, has probably outstayed his welcome at Leeds and only are where they are because of how poor some of the competition is.

Sorry if I'm being whooshed here, but haven't we got a pretty good record against Smith?

If I've got my timings right, we got a win and a draw against his Brentford side under Wilder across two Champ seasons, then DWDLW v Villa in the Champ / PL. He was Walsall manager for a bit but only a few games against us, most of which were draws.

Fraud manager who would be nowhere without Jack Grealish :D
Got to be Warnock then after Bruce.

Warnock's record against us (P12 W6 D4 L2) is his 9th best in terms of points per game against any side he's faced 10 or more times. Best is against Boro (P12 W10 D0 L2).

Steve Bruce's two best records against any side he's faced more than 10 times is against Sunderland (P18 W13 D4 L1) then against us (P14 W10 D2 L2): both teams he's managed.

Dean Smith has faced United sides more often than any other and has a good but not spectacular record (P17 W4 D8 L5)

David Moyes is another one with a good record against us: P13 W8 D2 L3

Covid and postponed games haven't helped Burnley, Watford and the managerial merry-go-round, Newcastle being Newcastle, all mean Leeds and Bielsa been lucky, so far, but that could change, could be a real scrap/dogfight

Anybody who watched Barnsley last year , particularly playoffs v Swansea it was shocking percentage football at its worst
Thank fuck he didn’t become our manager
if he was in the frame we should have gone all in and gone for Big Sam or Pulis
Gone for one of the original’s
Kick it hard , higher, faster then kick it again

He was a shite manager WBA like a bunch of thugs bulldozing everything in their path taking an eternity to wipe the ball with a towel wtf …just amazed he lasted as long as he did as their manager
