The start to this season has all the hallmarks and the bad smell of a David Wier and/or Nigel Adkins season with a bit of Micky Adam's thrown in. All utterly and obviously out of their depth whilst in the big chair at BDTBL. Just not capable of filling it.

Ruben Selles is the latest in that line. Even worse for him though is that his gaffers (the epitome of the 'wanker boss') have absolutely no idea about football.

We've spent the summer pissing ourselves about those scruffs across at S6... and yet here we are. Fuck me.

The Spanish Clown hasn’t got a clue how to set a team up.
How often was Hamer the deepest player today?
Cannon wide right? U fucking sure?
That first half was an embarrassment. An indictment of how this manager can’t get a tune out of these players.
Didn’t want to be calling for him out after 3 league games. But with Boro and Ipswich away coming up - we’ll be rock bottom 0 points after 5 games.
Bristol, Swansea & Millwall first 3 games and we’ve been shiiiiite. No entitlement from me. Deserved to lose the lot

We seem completely bereft of ideas on how to attack teams. We’ve set up today with 5 attackers on the pitch and I don’t recall us creating a single chance in the first half. We had Hamer, O’Hare, Campbell & Barry in that 5 - it’s quite embarrassing to be perfectly honest.

In a way, I feel sorry for Selles. We’ve obviously not replaced Souza and are very light at the back, but that’s is in absolutely no way an excuse to the way we’ve played so far this season. We look every single bit a relegation threatened side so far. An alarming drop of the 90+ point season. If we’d have lost all of our opening games, but spent good chunks of games carving through sides and creating lots of chances, I’d be fine with it. But we’re not.

Our attacking output has bizarrely regressed - something we were all moaning about - from last season. It’s an alarming time for us as I don’t know what we’re trying to do or indeed how to sort it, but something needs to seriously change or we’re going to be in danger of having a disaster of a season.
