Out thoughts are with the Pinchy family tonight.
Pinchy was last seen heading out of Bramall lane around about the 43rd minute of tonights game. He had his head in his hands and was yelling "No No No". He hasn't been seen since
This is very sad news indeed, he isn't even responding to text messages.
If anyone knows of his whereabouts please keep it to yourself. :D :D

He probably has his shoes off on the car park

I just want to pay tribute to The Samaritans. They could not have been more helpful and understanding when I rang them at half-time. I even persuaded them to sponsor us next season.

Monty was excellent tonight. He actually for once did the things that you lot erroneously claim he does and we were all the better for it. I believe it was his off- target shot that was deflected in for our second; the own-goal.

Those of us who were underwhelmed by the arrival of Creswell should acknowledge we were wrong. I certainly do. He is a model professional. I am pleased he is our player.

Connolly had a very satisfactory debut.

Now then, about Quinn.....

I thought Seip was very good tonight too ,he brings a lot of control to the back 4.
Can someone yeach Camara the offside rule.

Cresswell is so alert. Demonstrated that with the cheeky goal v Plymouth, and again in the 1st minute today. My whelm was certainly under where it normally is when he was signed, but I'm very happy to be proven wrong. Very good signing, great player at this level, much better player than he was 10 years ago, he has added a lot of guile to the other attributes.

Micalijo's a bit quiet, too. He's usually made at least ten postings by now.

Ok, I'll do the job for him. It will probably all come crashing down around our ears again on Saturday.

It probably will to be fair, but I'm enjoying tonight, and will continue to do so until Saturday tea time.

Yup, I was wrong about Cresswell (fabulous header on Saturday), but I still worry we've an aged player doing what Chedwyn should be doing. It remains a bit messed up.

As for Monty. I've really nothing say. :)

Cresswell had me in his first game, the nutters were baying for his blood and he started as he's carried on. Watch and learn Ched.....

I was so happy when Monty smacked that one in! It washed away all the apathy in a moment and will keep me smiling for weeks. Captain Fantastic tonight!

I thought Quinny did well too.

Watch and learn Ched.....
Exactly. And isn't Ched lucky to be training with him every day.

I'm struggling to think of a better signing at the Lane than Creswell in the last 12 months. I'm happy to have been completely wrong about him.

Really, Sharrow? I thought Quinn cheated. He gave the illusion of involvement but was invariably taken out of the game by a single pass and made no real effort to recover.

In the second half he delivered a decent pass out to the left then stood still to watch the move develop when he should have been racing forward in support.

He was powder-puff in the physical challenges.

He improved as the second half went on but, crucially, Blackpool were a beaten side by then.

Who are you refering to?

I thought Quinn had a much better game - I don't think he's been anything like as bad this year as he was in games last year where his only contribution was to swipe at the ball on its way past.

That said I agree with Pinchy to a point. Late on Quinn moved the ball about intelligently and closed down as he should do - but for long periods he was always close to the ball but having no more impact on the actual game than me or my Dad sat in the Westfield upper.

In the first half I got really frustrated for about 10 minutes where we seemed to be getting overrun in midfield so I started watching Monty and Quinn to see whether it really was their fault. At the time it was actually Monty who didn't seem to be able to take charge of the space he was trying to occupy in front of the defence and was getting pulled all over.

What seemed to change things was the horror challenge by their no.4 on Monty - we suddenly had a little more bite and they couldn't pull us around as easily.

You see thats the point, 'Us lot erroneously claim', know he actually went for the deflection.

No Nick its 'Yes but did you see the attendance tonight? thats go to impact financially and the season ticket renewals will reflect that. One good performance wont change a thing KM has got to start addressing the issues at hand. If we'd have kept Walker with the Tevez money paying for him, we could have built a whole new team around him.'
