Do the players have the option to extend the contract or do we?
Having heard the interview, suggestion is they can be automatically triggered by the player if they play in a certain number of games this season.
It's the only way to attract the type of players we were targeting. We tried to buy our way out of the league. Unfortunately, we chose a bloke whose success was based on getting the best out of tight budgets and building a team slowly to buy our way out of the league quickly. So it seems Brannigan and whoever were giving out contracts to players that were all in the players favour.
Sorry to be pedantic, but lots of Spanish words are written with an 'h', and none of them are ever pronounced. Only southern English people trying to sound posh speaking Spanish ever say it, and they sound stupid. We northerners have an advantage. Rant over (your general point, of course, is correct). It is whatever the locals call it. So tomorrow we are playing Bury not Berry but if you live in Bury St Edmunds it is pronounced Berry St Edmunds. What annoys me is the Sky tv newscasters pronouncing Doncaster, as Doncarster. Similarly Newcastle as Newcarstle. On tv this Christmas you will here the sparkling wine Cava pronounced as Carver. This is a Spanish word and is pronounced as Cava the way we would in the North. Why do Southerners have to put an r in after an a. E.g. path, bath, grass etc. The Spanish language has it right, pronounce every letter, don't add any or miss any out. Rant over!

It's rare for players to have the option usually the other way roundSo it seems Brannigan and whoever were giving out contracts to players that were all in the players favour.
We will see him tomorrowScoring a hilarious own goal or smashing your nose in the process... I don't know what's worse!

Suppose it depends on who wrote the contract, if it is anything like Hammonds, they will probably be able to do what they want and demand millions.
