Updates from a Clough

Had we had the resources clough has had when interviewing potential managers after weir left, we probably would have Stuart Mcall as manager now. Just saying like.

Couldn't agree more and he would have been the "perfect fit" for us. It was obvious he wanted to come but the challenge would have been almost suicidal even for a successful experienced manager.

McCall is one of my all-time favourite Blades players and men.

Having someone as a all time favourite player and men does not mean they would be right as the manager . Morgan comes to mind. I am glad McCall did not get the job and Clough did IMO.

McClaren is benefiting from the work that Clough put in?

Of course in 4 years clough did some good work, he's not an idiot.

Rampage summed his abilities up best in his October 2013 OP "Nigel Clough - views from a Derby fan"

He's a capable manager, it's just that he doesn't bring it all together to win things. Much of what Rampage said is all too true to this day.
