Interesting fixture list.

Leeds not playing, so gives us an opportunity to go above them.

West Brom away at Villa - they should win, but local derby and with the players they have, Villa could turn it on at some point. Be great to be 6 or 7 points ahead of them before we go there next week.

Bristol City, Derby - neither playing so a win would also pile pressure on them.

Norwich face Bolton away - you'd think this would be a gimme and I expect nothing other than a Norwich win.

Obviously having said that, we need to focus solely on beating Reading (who won last night) and with injuries piling up nothing can be taken for granted.

How many more weeks until we start listing the top 4's remaining fixtures?!

Statistically the lower teams start picking up more points at this time of the season as the fight for survival intensifies, so both tricky games for us and Norwich.

Have a feeling Norwich could drop points after last nigh, look at Bolton’s result at Birmingham I had that as an absolute home banker so could be a bad time to play them.

Norwich leak too many goals, they will not go up, despite Pewky goals!

Would be really surprised if Bolton managed to take anything off Norwich.
By all accounts it was one of those games last night when it just wasn't your night, the Preston keeper had a blinder apparently.
They were also missing two key creative players, not sure how long they are out for.

Have a look at the highlights,Preston a little unlucky, could easily have been 5.

A win for us and WBA dropping points Saturday would be huge going into our game at theirs on the 23rd.

WBA play QPR on Tuesday before they play us, so they may not be as far behind as some think.

Didn’t realise that to be fair! Can’t see them dropping points in that one as QPR seem to be going back down the table after their good run. You never know though.

WBA should win that one, suspension or injuries best we can hope for there I think.

Gayle should now miss our game as he’s been charged for diving. If all three don’t agree that was a dive they may as well scrap the review panel altogether.

But if he only gets 2 games he'll be back for us.

Hopefully he will get 3 games as he has previous.

He has until 6 pm today to respond. Punishment will be tomorrow. He will miss the Villa and QPR games and be back for ours.

Yeah I’m clutching a straws a little with that one but you never know. It was a close game in the reverse fixture 3-2 & a 93rd minute winner for Norwich

Didn’t know they were playing QPR - shame - is it definitely only a two game ban?

I went of their forum, they just seem to put it down to one of those days and the Preston keeper (ex Norwich i believe) had a blinder, they also missed a pen.
Football fans are not know for putting it down as one of those days and acknowledge the keeper played well.
They normally blame Ref, Players, manager. .

Previous precedent has been two matches (Shaun Miller was the first one!)
Does it depend on how he responds? If he accepts charge I assume it'll be 2 games, but if he appeals & loses then I guess it will be increased.
