I think it's time we changed captaincy. Nothing against Monty I just think he is unlucky.

We have battered many teams this season and walked away with nothing - last night was not an exception.

A change of captain for a change in fortune anyone?

whereas me and pinchy think he is.. :)

Interesting point. Who else would you have as captain? I guess it's a sign of the times that no one really stands out as a leader without Morgs.

by way of explanation.. pinchy and myself aren't great fans of the maestro.. {understatement}

We only "battered" Leicester last night because as usual we gave the opposition a goal head start so they didn't have to go out and win the game.

I remember months ago people were saying that someone is going to get it at the Lane. We're still waiting.

I can think of one team that "gets it" every time.

Obviously I'll have to state that I think Monty deserves his place in the team, so this is no slight on him as a player.

But, I'd agree that Monty is not the man for the captaincy.

If Collins/ Lowry look anything like leaders, i'd choose one of them two. Have a shout off.... If you can hear the shout from Shirecliffe to the lane, the winner gets the arm band.

I'm with you there, we need a proper leader with a voice that'll carry to the rest of the team. The lack of communication last night was painful, players in acres of space lashing out at the ball as if it was going to explode if they kept it too long and other times we lost the ball by being blissfully unaware of a Leicester midfielder closing down on the ball.

Monty isn't the man for it, I can't doubt his commitment but the way he plays (100 miles an hour and rushing all over the place) just doesn't make him the best man for the job in my opinion.
