Yesterday was the anniversary of the world's first ever floodlit football match. It took place at Bramall Lane in 1878. To those that might guess my age from some of my older recollections on here, I didn't attend that game

No it was past my bedtime and there were no horse drawn carriages to take me home at that time anyway. :-(
