Right now I would think he is our third CB, with Walker as a fourth, though I expect we will get a 'real' fourth CB.

I don't think Bromby is as good as he once was. He's not strong enough to play CB and £400k is a lot of money to pay for a bit-part player.

I don't think it's a necessarily a 'bad' signing on our behalf. Although, as others have mentioned, he's quite weak for a centre back and a bit of a pretty boy. Plus, paying £400,000 for a player that will be on the bench for the majority of games is quite steep.

He was a starter for Watford when they were playing well, he is a solid back-up who will be needed.
