I think you're very generous to Hill who was at fault for at least two of their goals due to his lack of positional sense. He was nowhere to be seen when their winger was picking out his crosses.

Conversely, I think you're harsh on Doyle, who was fine for me, playing some nice football and Blackman, who caused them problems, ran his bollocks off and won the penalty which he converted with great composure.

Flynn was my man of the match though. Keep that up and we might not miss Quinny, who I rated very highly.

What he said. Nail on the head. I thought Hill allowed in far too many crosses from his side of the park. I'd like to see him try to cut out more.

T Bournemouth to their credit came to win the game, which I never complain about. A lovely day, coupled with a defeat for the FFF at Selhurst, the beer tasted great afterwards!

Having watched the full game on Bladesworld, I was quite impressed by Bornmuff, I think it bodes well for us that we beat them so handsomely.
After Flynn's first goal they had a Barca-type possession spell of 32 passes and ended it with a dangerous cross.
Funny to hear some wag shout "Get the f*k*n ball United" halfway through.

or my pet hate, when commentators call it the frame of the goal

'And the crossbar's still shaking!' or 'That missed by a coat of paint!' Suppose it's a bit more romantic than 'The ball bounced off the polyester powder-coated extruded aluminium frame.':p

Conceding the Bournemouth goal after half time was very poor, we seemed to be very late back on the pitch and the players appeared to have left their brains back in the changing room - no-one had switched on at all.

A hangover from last season. There's no excuse for the half-hearted slouch back onto the pitch for the second half.
