Agree with Bergens post,and when saw the line up I thought straightaway that he's gone for a more physical line up...there must have been only Done and Brayford under 6 foot...it was effective in stifling Coventry to be fair,but we looked very limited on the ball,but we battled well and rode our luck and got a much needed 3 points against a decent Cov side.

Just watched the full 90 mins, I actually thought we held our own in the first half, conceded a lot of possession but defended pretty well.

You listen to Keef Edwards constant moaning, watch 'highlights' and read comments on here, but you don't realise how bad it is until you see it with your own eyes.

Yesterday was embarrassing. No pace, no skill, no technique. A few people have said we played with renewed passion and energy, but constantly kicking or pulling shirts because you're too lazy or slow to chase a player is not showing either.

Yes, we won, but I didn't see any green shoots yesterday and have never felt so nonplussed after a victory. If we stick with that same team of talent-less cloggers, then this is going to be a long, hard, miserable season.

Have you ever heard of horses for courses that's what Adkins did on Sunday and it worked well,yes we lacked a lot but the tactics were spot on if Collins hadn't had one of them games they would have created almost nothing.The mistakes he made had the effect of lifting Coventry and making our back four very edgy at times.Ime not a Collins fan but overall he's not done badly this far but his lack of confidence
Does effect the other defenders ( I wouldn't criticise his commitment as he gives his best at all times)need to improve on him but he's the best we have at the club, for now.We must get anot her centre back in the window hopefully:: Dan Burn.
If you heard Adkins after match interview he says why we set up the way we did, play our normal open game would have made us vulnerable to counter attacks (Coventry have scored a lot of goals from breaks with the young talent they have on loan).we nullified them
Very well.Many will say we showed them too much respect but I think Adkins felt it was the best way to win the match.and he was proved right.Well done nige .
We are a team lacking confidence at present winning games is the only way it will return (even winning ugly like sunday) Coventry are a team who on the back of a good run (11 unbeaten ) showed a lot of confidence hopefully that defeat will have dented it some what.
