It's mostly attitude for me, when he fancies grafting and taking responsibility, he's the player people were desperate to keep hold of. The quality or lack of in other players is never an excuse for not doing the basics and/or giving up.

Very true - and that's something he could learn from Flynn - heart, effort, attitude - unfortunately missing.

I think there are quite a few players who are untouchable and Kevin is one of those. I am one of the Flynny clappers and yesterday I thought it just wasn't going for him. Then we kept playing the ball over the full backs head constantly in the 2nd half and I was begging for Poleon to take his place then. Robson was running backwards by the time Wilson took him off.

I would like to say I thought Kevin Macca had a strong last 15 minutes, however if there is one player who suffers from not having attacking full backs it's him. I think a few need to recognise that when the full back has pushed up 20 yards it gives Macca another outball where he can play one two's. Allow the winger to come in side and pull defenders inside with him and allow the full back to push on. It just frustrates me because we have the players and should be so much better than we are.

Hill (MOM for me) did it a few times yesterday but his final ball is usually a shocker. McMahan is terrible for it ,once yesterday in the first half he was away but checked back fo some reason. Macdonald passing was awful until the last 20 yeasterday ,one hospital ball to Flynn which Flynn copped the flak for was particularly bad.

Don't agree with dropping McDonald, he had a quite game yesterday but it's not surprising given the number of times Kitson keeps getting in the way by dropping deep into midfield, and when McD does get on the ball he's not got the main striker to look for because he's alongside him half the time.

Kitson's f***ing up the team shape and he hasn't got the fitness trying to be attack, midfield and defence all in one game.

Generally a very frustrating afternoon made all the worse by a completely incompetant set of officials. How do these people get to do (and more bizarrely keep!) the job?

It's about time the official assesment of a referees performance was available on the FA website after every game. It would at least give us a clue as to what the FA expect from them, because if they think that sort of performance is, in any way, acceptable, then the game is going to shite.

Before you talk such shite, why not read a bit more about what's been said. There's probably no bigger critic of Flynn than me. And I'm a big fan of McDonald - but he does lack effort and heart at times, something that Flynn doesn't.

Why that position makes you despair is beyond me, other than the clear fact you've drawn big conclusions from some very lazy reading.

What makes me despair is how limited so many peoples viewpoints are. Black / White.

Naw mate, I'm just protective towards little blokes
