If you mean the sentence "but as a centre half I would much rather play him than Sharp" I did a double take at first, but after pondering it for a while, I think Deadbat means "[if I was] a centre half I would much rather play [against] Mcburnie than [against] Sharp [because Mcburnie offers little to no threat]".

I said this when I saw the team for the other night. Fairly inexperienced defence and you see that Sharp isn't playing, you breathe a sigh of relief.

TBF Mcburnie probably would be a better centre half than Sharp!
