Unique Piece of History up for Auction

The Tweet that Chris Wilder had pinned to the dressing room wall last season has been signed by many of the players and donated to John Price, a patron for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity to be auctioned off today at the hospital's charity golf day at Hallamshire Golf Club.

It's a silent auction, so anybody interested can pop up to the club before 8pm tonight and write their maximum bid on the silent auction sheet.

Good to see it'll generate some dosh for a good cause but I bet Lee Burgon will be a bit gutted that he hasn't been given it.

Mind you, he'll already be well chuffed to know his tweet was used as an inspirational aid for the campaign last season.

John Price is a local plumber and mad Blade who ha cancer that was treated and cured at Weston Park.
Every year he has a charity auction and has raised tens of thousands of pounds for the hospital.
A top bloke and a very worthy cause.

It's a shame, but looks like some signatures are wearing off already....what is worth 4 figures now, will be worth 20 quid in a couple of years.

I know it's not about making a profit, but what you pay for now won't necessarily be the same item a couple of years down the line.
