Very youthful squad even younger than those who seem to be going out on loan or being moved on.I rated some of those who maybe going
(Dimaio,mcdonagh and others),hopefully Adkins and his CoaChes are making the right calls as we can't afford quality to slip through our fingers.They get paid for making those decisions so we have to trust them.The most surprising thing is Diego got a 2 year deal when Adkins had hardly seen him play I wonder if he regrets that now (or he must rate him highly) as he has hardly put his boots on this season,l wonder what niggles he is suffering another James Wallace?.

He's been fit since Scunny away so we were lead to believe. Given that we paid a decent fee for him isn't it time to get him in the team to see if we can get something out of him?!

That's what I was thinking...from his limited appearances he seemed quite nippy, with a bit of quality for L1...might offer something different eh?

Because he is always on the bench or makes the odd start, Louis Reed is obviously seen as the best of the youngsters we have at the Lane. If that is the case, the others don't stand a prayer of getting anywhere near the first team.

I hope its a question that Adkins is asked sometime soon. Would be great to have him back, we never got chance to see what he could do so would be like a new signing again.

What makes you think giving Diego a contract was Adkins' decision alone? As you say, he'd not really seen him play and it appeared that a contract was on the cards for Diego long before Adkins came in.

Yes, we offered him a contract but he didnt sign it straightaway. There are posts in here that he had a trial at Bournemouth and they decided not to take him on. I assume he then decided to sign our contract when he realised that interest in him wasnt like it was before he got that injury a few years ago

Yes, I've always suspected he was quite relieved when Clough left as it gave him an excuse to sign for us when he realised he wasn't going to Juve and that Tranmere wasn't Turin.
