I took one of my lads to the BDTBL tour before the Watford game on Boxing Day and heard an interesting fact. In January 2019, the Premier League visited all top ten clubs in the Championship to report on required ground improvements if promoted. In January 2020 UEFA visit the top ten in the Premier League to do the same - crazy times.

Interesting watching the campionship highlights this afternoon on Sky. Brum v Leeds was so badly lit you could barely see who was who. I imagine that is a requirement.

I was on the same tour, what shocked me was, after the January 2019 inspection the Lane considered themselves to be in good shape regarding Premier League standards, but the report of required improvements was 364 pages. Now I see where the millions went.

Errrm UEFA visiting the top ten prem league clubs...BTW not disputing yer sources (barring Hendo's), why would Uefa have to visit the top ten prem clubs.
When one,
1any ground in or that is in, or gets promoted to the premiership, that ground has to meet both UEFA and our own PL requirments...if any of those top ten should qualify for any Eurorpean competition....surely uefa would have already done this...as well as looking at the reports on grounds and suitability for any European game provided by the PL.....
If i have got it wrong as i understand the original post then fine,.....sounds like more bloody tripple paperwork and jobsworths..

That was definitely something we had to change; hence now needing sun glasses for evening kick offs and the Metallica-esque light shows. Its to do with the HD TV equipment apparently. I was privy to a bit of info on the ground requirements over the summer, and some of it seemed a bit OTT (mainly due to setting up VAR ).
