The U23s are at Stocksbridge at 2pm today (Friday 25th) v Bristol City. SUFC are played 2 won 1 drawn 1. To sit 4th in the North. A win by three clear goals will put us Top tonight. Bristol City are won 1 lost 1 in the South.
My team news, goal & Full time updates will be on my Twitter
www.twitter.com/ball_sup
and, later tonight, a more detailed report (he kicked it to him, etc) on my Blog
www.ball-sup.blogspot.com

As always, I'm happy to try & answer specific questions. But, that'll usually be well after the whistle, rather than in real time.

Edit Friday 24th.
Therefore you probably shouldn't trust my Score Updates either....

Pardon me for this question as it’s probably me missing something. But if we’re in the North and Bristol in the south, why are we playing each other? You’ve mentioned there that we could go top but mention north and south as 2 separate divisions (in the way I’ve read it anyway).

Could just be there's a huge cluster of London clubs at that level. Seem to recall Gloucester were in the Conference North not too long ago for similar reasons

There's 10 in a North Division. 10 in a South Division. You play each team in your own region twice (home & away). And you play each team in the other region just once (either home or away).
At the end of the regular season, top of the North play 2nd in the South. Top of the South play 2nd in the North. Both single legs. Two winners play a single game for the overall title.

I've written my Blog report. It's pretty short. We did have a good few chances, but it felt we were second best to a physically stronger & older Bristol City team (as per frechyblade). Nobody awful. Nobody standing out. Not much to write about. In a homage to Steve Mackan Coutts is Man Of The Match for helping me get a drink (warning tenuous) - nice beer though. Here's the Link

Listen, Coutts' omnipotence is unwavering. It may feel tenuous at times, but he affects all at all levels. All creatures great and small - and ale.

Great reading as usual btw.
