The U23s are at home to Bolton Wanderers at Stocksbridge on Monday afternoon at 2pm.
We've lost the last two - in the PL Cup to Ipswich at the Lane & away to Birmingham in the league.
Despite that, we're third in the Table. A win this afts will see us leapfrog above Nottingham Forest & Sheffield Wednesday to go top of the league. (Neither of those two play today).
Maybe SUFC Academy graduate Connor Hall will be out there for Bolton. He signed pro terms with them after being released from Shirecliffe.

Anyway. I'll do live updates on my Twitter feed, I'll put what I can on this forum, and there'll be a fuller report on my Blog in due course.

We always seem to play better up at Stocksbridge than the Lane for some reason, looking forward to an afternoon off work to watch it :)

Huge 6 pointer in our mini league with them :p
I'm old skool. I don't single out any opponents for a grudge. I hate them ALL. Bolton are rock bottom 11th. Played 6, won 1, lost 5

what's happened to slater??? thought there was high hopes for him, but seems to be on the bench every week. has he taken a few steps backward???

My opinion
No. Definitely not taken a step backwards.
He was still carrying an injury at the start of this season.
He has also served a suspension this season.
So, he has been a bit in & out for those reasons.
Like all of them, he has to kick on.
Important Development year for him.

He wasn’t supposed to be involved today as first team are at Burnley tomorrow for a behind closed doors game and he’s expected to figure in that tomorrow

So, I think I've finally ironed it all out
Won 3-2
Gone TOP (maybe just for a day or two)
OG
Jake Eastwood saved a Pen, kept us in it at other times
Oliver Greaves bagged two beauties & was MoM
Graham stuck on the Right
6% Ale - (aaahhh Phil, I hear you say, now we understand why you were confused about the scorers)
All on the Blog

Thanks for this. I couldn't get to the game but i tend to agree with you regarding Sam Graham. He is a fine prospect but is very young despite his build. I would not be surprised if the coaches were placing him on the right to enable his development. They have done that with others with good success
