Fleck's legs have definitely gone but for 4 unreal season's he gave us, he deserves a little bit more of respect surely?
No sentiment in football. Fleck still living off his free kick goal against the pigs and the other wage theif Basham is living off the goal against Leeds. Both should have been rid of 2yr ago. Part of the reason why the club finds itself in the state it is.

I see what your saying but there's been many more "wage thiefs" than Fleck. Least on a free transfer we've had four quality seasons out of him.

Your season ticket grants you access to the stadium for first team games, it doesn't give you the right to just show up and wander in whenever you feel like it 🤷‍♂️
When there’s a 28000 crowd you show up with your season ticket and walk in understanding there may be a wait at the turnstile. When there’s maybe 500 like today you’re directed away from the entrance and you have to queue with folk buying Spurs tickets, arguing about this and that, pay nowt get given a ticket then show it the guy who has just told you to queue and he lets you in agreeing that it’s a complete farce. 🤷🏼‍♂️

You need a ticket to attend u21s games, you didn't have one. You were therefore directed where to go to get one. Most people who attend events check how to enter them before arriving rather than just turning up and the door and expecting to be let in...

I think it's reasonable to turn up to a match, and expect there be some some of system for people buying tickets for the game that's starting in 10 minutes to be prioritised over customers buying a ticket for a match starting in a week.

The best system is not to expect to buy a ticket 10 mins before ko immediately.
Getting there earlier would have done the trick - or is that too obvious?

Wage thief for playing regular football for a contract the club offered them? Are you being serious? If you’re fucked off with the club for those deals fair enough, but don’t think labelling two great players for us ‘wage thieves’ is on. Too many people on here call our players all sorts they’d never say to their face if they saw them in the street

What a terrible match that was.

Fleck to Marsh and the header was the only bit of quality in the whole game.
I watched the second half, and it was’t good. As you say, the only bit of quality was Fleck’s excellent cross and Marsh doing a - dare I say it? - Bradshaw, by making that clever movement in the box to create space and then score with the header. When I see youngsters do that, I always hope that we have another Keith Edwards in the making; keep doing that, and if the crosses come in, goals will follow.

In a real state aren't we

The issue of needing to queue at the ticket office at The Lane, to show them your season ticket card, so that they can print you off a free ticket, which you present next door to get in for U21 games has been caused by the Carrier Bag Firm I'm afraid.

They simply must have some paperwork memorabilia from games like this, to store away in the shoeboxes and the like. And a printed ticket with a date and opponents on fits the bill perfectly.

I've warned them that they'll lose the sympathy and support of civilian fans who will just see the need to queue for a ticket as an imposition. But, they must have their meaningless bits of paper. Of course, roughly half of them will have got the ticket, put it a plastic wallet and gone home without even going in the game. It's just the need for memorabilia for them.

Anyway, people will know for next time...

Has Fleck not done anything since his goal against the pigs?

I must have dreamt his goals and performances in the Premier League.

If there's no sentiment in football, I'd tell some "fans" that they aren't fit to call themselves such and should do one. Could do with less of these people on our forum and in BL.

L Marsh made real progress this season real talent he has and good finisher too.Seems to be playing as a striker this season and relishing the freedom that gives him.
Another local blade coming through hopefully.Hes one of a group of lifelong fans who have a good chance of making the grade ! To make it into the 1st team as a blade is something most of us will never do.
These young lads have a great opportunity just kèep your heads down work hard
,talent will come through.

Another reason is the attitude of some of our fans, exemplified by your posts whose lack of empathy borders on the sociopathic.

I think Clark and Fleck (minus the assist), made us worse to be honest.

Arblaster, Coulibaly and Buyabu were the standouts. Brooks looked (expectedly) lively when he came on, too, after being unlucky to lose his place.

thought clark was good and could be pushing robinson for the lcb role saturday coulibally is interesting bit of a wild card not everything he tries comes off but think hes got that bit of individuality that we lack in midfield stand out player on pitch for me was buyaba at lwb loads of pace as well as being skillfull just looks like he needs bulking up a bit in the summer and i think he could be challenging lowe and rnd for that spot

I'm sorry you're so shortsighted as to what and where the clubs failings lie. Wasn't intended to hurt your feelings, just sharing my opinion.

Arblaster deserves more minutes in the first team - I hope we skip the loan to League 2/National League with with as he's very very good.

Buyabu runs like a proper sprinter - his final ball is a bit hit and miss but he's a very good prospect. When I saw us against Southampton U21 he looked impressive but was (verbally) very quiet. The whole team was actually pretty quiet and didn't seem to communicate with each other that much - the management were shouting instructions the entire game (when they weren't having a go at the ref/4th official) so I wonder if that's how they operate.

Love the positivity and encouragement some of our fans display!

Thanks for the explanation, that solves it. I’m reconciled to queuing from now on. It’s ok to have meaningless bits of paper you know. You have my full support. I’d like to offer you my ticket from yesterday but as it was free seating it just wasn’t needed so it got binned ( hopefully recycled). UTB

Lots of evidence for that in this thread, from the excitement in young Marsh’s interview (any Blade could not feel anything other than hope he lives his dream) to the cynicism about wage thieves. The number of times Marsh praises ‘Flecky’ for that perfect centre suggests that he sees it very differently.
