I'm possibly seeing things but Boyes' shot looks like it takes at least one deflection on its way through. Watford's defence is all over the place positionally. Norrington-Davies' goal (for us ) reminded me of No Hands Verrips at West Brom.

Yeah he's been wrong-footed, just always a bit disappointing when a goalie is right there and the ball seems to go straight through him. Sure he won't be losing any sleep over it.

We have to get to cat 1 as soon as possible . Cant see it happening until new training grounds up and running . But to protect our boys it's a must .

Yep. Plenty have had some 1st team exposure too.

Ignoring Rhys and Campbell, 7 of the 9 youth lads who've started today, have featured either in a pre-season game this summer, or have at least been in a match day squad this season. I think only Aston and Blacker don't hit one of those criteria (though I may be wrong).

Loads if exciting young talent coming through, and that doesn't even include those out on loan, e.g. Curtis.

Blacker played in one of the pre season games,can't remember which,and looked a neat and tidy player..
