Yeah ano, avid FM player here. We have a brilliant academy so hopefully players who won't cut it at top 10 PL clubs will want to come here to develop and play.

Looking at players released at 18/19 from top premier league academies is great business for us.

For clarity we only have to pay a tribunal fee if the player was offered a contract by their existing club - if they're released there isn't a fee because the player is unattached.

I'd argue only 1 or 2 of them should have been anywhere near a championship first team for more than a couple of games this season

I think Hjelde has promotions with both Leeds & Sunderland and Matos has done a full season at Oxford playing to a decent level. Soumare has been voted man of the match quite a few times and at one point was leading the Bladesman player of the season rankings.

But yeah I agree Arblaster and Faxon probably need some minutes at Lg1 first.
