Good news for Ball_Sup (Phil) and the Carrier Bag Ultras.

The Carrier Bag Firm do not particularly view this as good news. Good news for the CBF is games in cities/towns we've rarely travelled to. Where there are new grounds, breweries, pubs and bars to visit. Chesterfield is been there, drank that.
I understand the move back to Chesterfield is good news for Civilians, but we'd been hoping for Boston.

Was gonna say if somebody stops to tie a shoelace it causes a traffic jam in Boston but I guess you meant the other one.

My fault. Accept my apologies. People talking about the other Boston, without saying which Boston they're talking about, which leaves the reader unsure which Boston is being discussed, let alone which Boston is the other Boston.

In a 2022/23 season, when Sheffield United Academy HOME games were scheduled at York City, Scunthorpe United and Alfreton Town (as well as Bramall Lane and Shirecliffe), the Carrier Bag Firm did discuss where they would prefer HOME games in this coming 2023/24 season.

In a tight run contest, Chesterfield received no fucking votes whatsoever. Common Sense prevailed, and in a victory for ever widening circles, Boston United's, Jakemans Community Stadium was the venue of choice.

I can confirm "traffic jams" played absolutely no role in any of the heated debates.

Would have prefered NewYork , but it will do , and if you are tight and dont want to pay the 2 quid parking fee , Tesco`s is only next door .

The Glassworks pub, on the other side of Sheffield Road, right opposite the Chesterfield ground, is a nice pub. Dishing out all the Brampton Brewery in excellent condition. Scour the blackboard for Beer Of The Week cheap options.

If you're in there in the four hours before kick off, during half time, or until quarter past midnight, on game day come and say hello...

You'll know us by the Bags.
