Because we clearly need to find players we can sell and won’t miss in the summer and for me Campbell is exactly that

And if he was backing them up / bigging them up / praising them he’d be vilified also. He can’t win. Personally I’d prefer him (or any manager) to tell it how it is. They still have the opportunity to go out there and prove him wrong, but he’s calling out the mentality we lack. And if they are demotivated because of a few critical words then they are proving him right.
