Anyone put any credence on this? Can't personally see the chairman acting at this point in the season, unless he sees a real prospect of relegation, or has someone else already lined up for the job!

Surely a manager should be rewarded as to results, not reputation?

Not at all - if it happens.

I would imagine that most of the Robbo-out brigade would change their tune if we started winning games, in much the same that one's finger would stop hurting if you were to take it out of the fire.

Also, if Robbo were being rewarded as to results rather than his reputation as an ex-England captain, he'd have had his marching orders a long time ago.
