So mediocre players this term stay and the best players leave for bigger and better things?

That's hardly unique to us now is it?

I thought you were one of the ones that thought he'd done nothing wrong?

Not his fault the court set his trial date three weeks before the season ended is it?

Arguably teh club, and Cheds highly paid lawyers should have tried something like John Terry sucessfully argued which was along the lines of a trail at that stage of the season would unduley affect Chelseas run-in. An arguement I actually have a lot of sympathy for now...

Too true. John Terry (and Chris Huhne) had lawyers good enough to determine and delay the trial date. Titus Bramble had a lawyer good enough/bent enough to get him off. Ched's co-defendant had a lawyer good enough to make night appear day. Many lawyers have got their clients off for crimes far worse than Ched's. FIVE YEARS FFS!!!

Whatever the morality of Ched's actions, I'm afraid InjuryLawyers4U let him (and therefore United) down extremely badly.

Here's a professional sportsman that violently assaults his partner, get's only 3-months, and sentencing is delayed so he can take part in his sport.....

US world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr has begun a three-month jail term for domestic violence.
The fighter was sentenced last December after pleading guilty to attacking his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris.
The judge delayed his jail time to allow him to fight Miguel Cotto on 5 May. He won the fight, for which he reportedly received $32m.

Five years for what sounds like a non-violent sexual misunderstanding that none of the participants can barely remember is rather excessive. The rape laws are good, but they were not written for this type of crime.
