Not easy finding a photo of the 1897-98 squad with The League Championship trophy which is next to the Sheriff of London (later changed to Charity) shield. The board of directors are in front. The players from left to right are Cunningham, Johnson, Bennett, Foulke, Needham, Thickett (behind Needham), Hedley, Almond, ?, Priest, Morren (out of picture)
