The 24 year old has netted 38 goals in over 150 appearances in the heart of midfield for Bodo and has the possibility to shine and sign a permanent deal at Bramall Lane.
Interest from Premier League clubs Everton and Fulham have been circulating him, but he is currently in Sheffield trying to impress. He has made 37 international appearances for Norway, albeit only one senior start.
He said: "I have known about this for a few days and it will be very exciting. There are a few serious offers on the table now, with the likes of Fulham showing an interest."
