First post Gents please be kind, I am not an ITK'r just repeating what I have been told by one of the blades finance team, McBurnie Robinson & Freeman through their agents have all expressed a wish to sign however fees with their clubs still to be agreed, allegedly we have offered £7 mill for Mcburnie, submitted a second offer for Robinson don't know figures for that and offered lower than quoted £4 mill for Freeman, can't confirm if any of this is true just putting it out there

I’ve heard from an unknown source that we’ve bid £7m for Mcburnie, under £4m for freeman and undisclosed for Robinson.

No tin hat needed but he says it’s from someone close to negotiations.

All 3 have expressed interest in joining. Could be bullshit. Just putting it out there,

They've been the main 3 on my wanted list right from the start.


£7m might be low balling for McBurnie, but certainly the acceptable type, unlike the old trick of offering 50k for someone who'd cost 500k.

Preston need to get real with Robinson. £10m is too much for him with a year left on his contract. This is one that might drag on. In which case there's the possibility we'll get him for a decent price, but also that we'll be gazumped.

Better having £3m rejected for Freeman than £4m I suppose.

4m Freeman, 6m Robinson and 10m McBurnie would all be good business I reckon despite the opening bids.

Once you start adding 2m to those it starts to look like good business by the sellers rather than the buyers.
