It's feeling like it did under Heath again and I can't see how we're going to turn it round right now.

Adkins has consistently said "we're working on it in training" or "we're working hard in training" but what on earth are they actually doing? They look less like a team now than they did at the start of the season. They've just gone backwards individually and as a team. The only thing they seem to be good at is drinking.

Adkins has a repetition of being a great motivator but this must be the most unmotivated squad of allegedly professional footballers I've ever seen at the Lane. Even when we were shit, we actually had some fight. There's nothing there. slow and ponderous, whether losing 3-0, winning or drawing. Nothing. No effort, don't care, would rather be in the pub.

We are not a team. I would say you could take at least 10 of our squad tonight and 2/3s of the division would jump at the chance to have them in their matchday squad (Christ, even Higdon scored twice tonight). But together, they don not gel. There's no understanding or urgency or tempo or playing for each other. There's nothing. What the crap is going on?
