Every successful team has one player that can win a game in a flash, a player that comes up trumps on a bad day. A player that is the difference from automatic promotion or play offs, winning the cup or being runners up, staying up opposed to being relegated. We have one of those players - Billy Sharp. Without him we would not be 6 points from 6 in the last 2 games. Team game, but his quality will carry us over the line this year.

Great finish today especially the first but the player with class for me that makes the difference is Duffy - great player who always wants the ball. Not a great performance today but the sort of game we have lost in recent years. UTB's

Agree with this completely.....

Even when games become sloppy and frustrating, Duffy grafts away and looks to get us ticking again. Billy's goals have picked us up 6 points in these last two games however Duffy has won us a good few points this season, fantastic player and I don't want to think about how we would be without him.

I saw something the other day that he had won us 16pts (so make that 19 now). So we would be 17th without his winning goals. He scored in a couple of other games but his goals didn't necessarily 'earn' the points - 2 at Shrews (3-0) and 1 at Chez (4-1)

He is a striker it is his job to score goals, also the highest paid player at the club. He is doing his job, other than when he insists on taking penalties.
Seriously though ge is doing ok, but how many would ge gave got with penalties and some if the simple misses

I agree Billy Sharp is a fantastic asset, never gives up and has great balance and strength. But let's not forget the contribution of his team mates in what is the best United side we've seen for many a year.
Wilder has got I bang on, the team spirit is superb, everyone wants success, it is so refreshing to see after last years debacle under that clueless twat Adkins.
The very thought of him, breaks me out in a cold sweat, I even made sure we had a goose for Christmas dinner
