How it looked to me today, without seeing the detailed stats. Men against boys really, and noone who didn't already know would ever guess that both teams were on level terms not that long ago.

A real testament to the benefits of a complete overhaul, compared to more of the same. Early days, but this team really does feel quite fucking special.

The determination to not concede is visible, it means a lot to Souttar and Anel as well as the full backs

I think we looked more controlled and balanced today. Still defensively imperious, but with green shoots showing in our attacking play.

Every one of them performed superbly today, but Arblaster really makes us tick doesn't he?

It feels like quite an important week.

To come away from the last four games with 10/12 points and for Wilder to have managed his squad so expertly through that period feels huge.
It's letting the rest of the division know, we're here and we're not going away easily.

There's elements of our attacking shape that need work, but the defensive foundations are so solid that we always have a chance.

There'll be many people pointing to parachute payments and underplaying the job that Wilder did this Summer.
Few will acknowledge that he lost 19 players from last season and has had to rebuild a new squad almost from scratch.
Introduced half a dozen academy players into the first team setup, bonded everyone together with great team spirit and implemented a shape that's made us the most difficult side to beat in the division.

I've enjoyed what I've seen this season. Of course I love a prolific fancy forward but Souttar is rapidly coming one of my favourites, something so pleasing seeing a big solid unit at the back putting shift after shift in and just solidly doing his job. Just as pleasing as seeing a striker bang in goal after goal.

With that being said I would like to see us get more goals in. We've regularly gone up early but it always feels like when the lads come off at half time they've had more than enough opportunity to kill the game off. We've got the capability with Hamer, Ohare, JRS and Brookes just need that bloody end product.

But I’m nit-picking, on the whole a very good effort, seven on ten, let’s make love.

First time we’ve had the look of a top 2 side about us. We played with a certain swagger and yet again we’re not coming close to conceding. That’s now 6 clean sheets in a row.

The only negative is the 2-0 scoreline doesn’t reflect the big difference in class.

I know Rak Sakyi deserves to be man of match but I’m starting to think Arblaster is our most important player. Reminds me of Gordon Cowans, he’s keeps everything so calm and simple but is like a metronome controlling the tempo.

Goal scorer in Jan and something special cooking here
Haven't you heard?
After a four and a half year hiatus, The Messiah is back! And firing on all cylinders! What could possibly go wrong?

( shame there's not a sarcasm emoji)

This team has grown / improved week on week. Wasn’t convinced about Wilder coming back - but hats’ off to him - he is managing all the crap regarding the ownership in the background and appears to be building a fantastic young & tight knit group of players. Let’s all enjoy the ride …. UTB’s.

So comfortable it was almost boring. Not in a negative way either, in an impressive way.

Could have still been playing now and I don’t think Luton would’ve scored

Souttar and Anel were playing the ball between them for what seemed like an age and Luton barely seemed to want it back despite being 1-0 down.

Huge improvement in performance from midweek. No disrespect to Peck who has done very well, but we look so much better with Arblaster back. So calm and comfortable on the ball and rarely gives it away, he reminds me of prime Coutts in that he doesn't do anything spectacular, but just does the simple things very well.

The defence and keeper were excellent again. Souttar was immense, Anel was excellent and I really like Gilchrist who loves a tackle. Mention for McCallum who I thought was excellent and did anyone notice how high high he can jump, really athletic player.

Brewster had a great game in the no.10 position too.

How many thought Wilder had lost the plot when reading the team sheet? Must say there were some surprises but the guy got it spot on . Best performance of the season so far. I think Cooper should be arrested for pinching money he has not had nothing to do for four weeks but still draws his money 🤣 🤣 That defence is superb .Hope we can sign the big fella on a perm.

Not seen a left back win so many headers since Matt Hill (shudders).
