Some of you know, some of you don't, but I am a part time media whore. I write the Sheffield United bit for The Times' Fanzine Fanzone. I generally just write any old bollocks, but they've asked me to do a piece about the 50 best ever Blades players.

So who is your favourite player? Who should be on the list? I don't want the reason why, just who you think. I've already got a good idea for most of them, but there might be a few who I've not thought about.

I'll start off with the obvious ones.

TC.

Deane.

Jags.

So who else can you think of? Thanks for the help, and there will be a big thanks at the end of the article.

Adrian Little-John. I'm only 17 and as a youngster between the ages of 5-11 i didn't follow football just looked at the results, but watching all my dad old SUFC videos i love that guy + Vinnie Jones :P

Other than that Micheal Brown

Got to be Keith Edwards and Colin Morris, OOh AH Bob bookerrrr, Fatty foukes, Mel Rees, Deane and Agana, Stan the man, and finally Fred Tunstall scorer of the winning goal when we last won the FA cup in 1925

Alan Woodward, Billy Deardon, Geoff Salmons, Jimmy Hagan, Colin Morris, Trevor Hockey to name a few.

Gil Reece, Hodgy,Eddie Col*8&%$$ can't spell his name !

Dane Whitehouse

Jags

to name a few that stick with me in the 19 years of following the Blades

Peter Beagrie......what a great player!

:)

Got a video somewhere in the cupboard of Beagrie scoring two belters for us against Hull city from 1986, think the game was on boxing day. We won the game 4-2 I think and Dempsey and daws got the other two.
Both goals by Beagrie were from 20 plus yards after beating 2 or 3 Hull players. It was only Beagries two wonder strikes that made me buy this video!!!

How could i forget Paul Peschisolido!...for many reasons but the Forest match alone will stay very vividly with me forever

Deane
Whitehouse
Borbokis
Jags!
The old Tonge
Brown
Holdsworth
Fjortoft
McGrath
Devlin on his day
Alan Kelly
Simon Tracey

Prob some others but can't remember them.
