The thread is about the owners pushing the boat out and spending money
I said they haven't got my to spend
You say is madine and Dowell wages magic?

First of all they are already here and have been bought with the Brooks money and secondly both have stated thst over and above plugging the yearly losses they aren't willing to put any money
So I'm assuming you know this as I do which is why I'm confused at your post

Why just McCabe ? Dowell and Madine wont have been cheap to bring in.

Typical as far as McCabe is concerned, as we know he will be less willing to stump up the cash. He's shown that over many years. Princey is dragging his heels with spending given the ownership circumstances alone. Although the same could be levelled at him about reluctantly spending given 'think Liverpool' and then nothing of significant note in L1 or Championship.

They won't have been cheap no, but given the ownership dispute, it's chucking some money at it short term. A slight gesture in the scheme of things. McCabe for example is unwilling to spend more incase the court case backfires. Or, if it doesn't backfire and we do go up, he's unable to spend more in the summer (he doesn't have it to spend) but he'd then be unwilling to clear off until he gets his increased return for a then-Premier League club. That would knackered up summer recruitment.

Basically put, we're doing well and Wilder is doing well despite the owners, not because of them.

After the poor transfer window last January I think loans are the right way to go this time. We needed a target man for plan b and ow we have one. We so needed competition for Duffy and now we have it. Both players are with ins in the top league and aren't cheap. For need competition for Sharp and the only option I can think of that could improve us would be the guy at Brentford and he would cost too much. For once, in this window, we are doing the right thing so far.

The directors obviously don't want to find any more money than they have to especially whilst the dispute is on-going. Whose fault the dispute is I dont know but I have my suspicions neither one of them will provide substantial funds even if we go up

Neither of the warring factions are going to sign off on something like that unfortunately.

I think what we currently have is what we are going stick with.

Horrifying really that the best opportunity to progress the Club that we have had for some considerable time may be wasted because of two "ambitious, committed" individuals who are more concerned with swinging handbags at each other than providing crucial financial support to Tufty at a strategically important time …… o_O

Pah, those piddling annual losses of £3 -£5m!

Everybody knows it's 'their job' and that the bloke who comes a dozen times and buys the odd pie, contributes almost the same as they do.
