All 3 likely to leave Cardiff according to Warnock. Wouldn't mind Tomlin for definite, don't see why bogle is in the championship as hasn't done anything since he was a grimsby in L2 and pilkington, can play wide and up top, decent player. Thoughts?

Tonlin and pilkington definitely.

BUT unsure on bogle. For under 1m he might be worth the risk. Looked quality at grimsby and wilder can certainly get the best out of most players.

Why not - get all 3 in!

I wanted Bogle a few years back just because the song for him is awesome.
As a player, no thanks.

Tomin would be very direct competition for Duffy but his fat lazy slobbery counts against him and probably rules him out.

Times are tough on the farm. Madine must be a good threshing machine! (WHICH is not surprising given his reputation).

I'd really like Quaner here actually.

Tremendous athlete, can play wide and central and I'd fancy him to get goals for us. He'd reduce the workload on Clarke massively.

I'd love pilkington as a striker who can play wide. The best bet for me at Cardiff would be Danny Ward though. Fast, left foot, good age, can play on the wing. Only problem for me would be if he can get over past injuries.

I like Pilkington but injuries is an issue. Tomlin is an excellent player attitude always seems to be questioned but both under CW would be excellent.

Bogle I have said for ages isn’t good enough for championship football. I really would say it’s 50/50 to whether the league one players can cut it.

Players like Leonard (Southend best player) Ricky Holmes (Charlton best player) both have struggled etc. League one signings are cheaper but I feel riskier.

Would rather Ivan Toney over Bogle. Toney is younger and come off the back of a decent season for Scunny. Wilder knows him well too, having had him at Northampton. He's also athletic, pacey and good in the air. I reckon Newcastle would be willing to sell, if we wanted a permanent deal. He might not be a starter yet but in my view we need a younger guy to develop, with the age of Clarke, Sharp and McGoldrick.

Thankfully Utd no longer have to fish in pools containing the likes of these players any more.

I was very impressed by Tomlin last season. He's obviously a very talented player. He doesn't look fit though and there seems a lot of talk about him being lazy with a poor attitude, which would never wash with Wilder. Pity really because he's definitely got what it takes to play at a higher level.

I'd say McGoldrick not wanted by Ipswich is in a similar pond to the names suggested? Do you mean expensive players who are on big wages that are possibly past it. Lee Tomlin if fit is a decent player, not sure on Pilkington.

I don't want Bogle, not proven and seems to have gone off the boil, but if Wilder wants him then fair enough.

Nope, McGoldrick is a proven Champ level player who, admittedly, suffered from injuries over the last 12 months. He caught the eye when I saw him play several times for Reading (I live not too far away) and was pleased when I learned of CW's interest

Bogle has proven he's simply not good enough, Tomlin has an attitude/motivation issue and Pilkington wasn't good enough for Cardiff last season and only played ~ a dozen times. I can see Bogle doing well for a lower L1/top L2 side (if any can afford him), Tomlin getting a move to a low Champ side/ top L1 side e.g. Bolton, Sunderland and Pilkington going to somewhere like Reading where he'll flatter to deceive and get moved on in 12-18 months.

Fundamentally I can't see any of them getting anywhere near Utd's side so would be astonished if CW is tempted.

Warnock seems to be wanting to sell his 3 players after the transfer deadline has closed........I saw this morning that he was touting moves for them into the championship, some time after he announces his Premier League squad on the 9th August......as the championship window closes 3 weeks later.........errr no it doesn't, he must have missed the memo.

Bogle is off to Ipswich, anybody know any strikers from Ipswich we might be able to get when he signs?
