Just noticed he's been nominated for League One Player Of The Month award for December.
To be honest I'd never heard of him, but the description of him by Sky Sports makes him sound like exactly the type of player we could be looking for - and he helped keep a clean sheet against Posh which is more than our current lot managed. I don't actually know where in defence he actually plays (hopefully centre half).
Anyone know much about him? Is he one of Blackpool's few shining lights or has he just enjoyed a bit of a purple patch? Like I say I don't know anything about him other than what his Wikipedia page says, and judging by that he's not really been given an opportunity at the teams he's been at until this season despite a promising youth career.
His no-nonsense, heart-on-sleeve style of defending earns him hero status at Bloomfield Road. Did everything in the 1-0 win at Wigan Athletic, which included heading the only goal and was superb again to keep out free-scoring Peterborough United.
